Argon is an odourless and colourless gas and is chemically inert; indeed it is referred to as one of the noble gases.

Argon is used as an inert shielding gas in welding and other high-temperature industrial processes where ordinarily non-reactive substances become reactive. Its purpose is to protect the weld area from atmospheric gases, such as oxygen, nitrogen, and water vapour. Depending on the materials being welded, these atmospheric gases can reduce the quality of the weld or make the welding more difficult.

Acetylene is a flammable, colourless gas with a distinct odour. The hottest and most efficient of all fuel gases, acetylene is also the most versatile and provides high levels of productivity thanks to good localised heating with a minimum of thermal waste. It is safe to use underground, because it is lighter than air, has a low ignition energy and low moisture in the flame.

A common propane/air flame burns around 2,000 °C, whilst a propane/oxygen flame reaches temperatures of about 2,800 °C, and an acetylene/oxygen flame burns at about 3,500 °C.

JENGAS LPG is available in portable 9kg size used for camping stoves and backyard barbecues. Medium 15kg size for use on Forklifts etc and larger 45kg size required for general household cooking, hot water, and heating.
